he new full version contains all components needed for a new installation or\u00a0 to upgrade Swisslog (only for version\u00a0<\/span>5.2 or higher<\/b>). It also includes the documentation and help in English, Spanish, German and French as well as other components that previously were needed to download them separately (background world map images, some reports and QSL formats and audio files for the DX-Cluster sound announcements)<\/p>\n

After installing Swisslog go to\u00a0<\/span>HELP > ABOUT… > REGISTER<\/strong>. Type your callsign and press “Add registration<\/strong>“. Please read\u00a0<\/span>Quick Start and Setup<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>It’s highly advisable to disable temporarily any antivirus software before installing Swisslog. Also add an exception to Swisslog in your\u00a0<\/span>antivirus and firewall<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>after installation. Most\u00a0 tend to block or slow down normal functioning of Swisslog.<\/p>\n

WINDOWS VISTA\/7\/8\/10\/11 USERS:\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/strong>There is no need to run Swisslog as administrator\u00a0<\/span>UNLESS<\/ins><\/em>\u00a0<\/span>you are installing Swisslog in the “Program Files” folder instead the default \u201cSwisslog\u201d root folder (NOT RECOMMENDED!<\/strong>) or you are running as administrator any of the associated programs used with Swisslog (i.e: OmniRig, Ham Radio de Luxe, DX Lab commander, MixW, FLDIGI, WSJT-X, etc<\/em>.). In such event, please read carefully the\u00a0<\/span>Installation<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>procedure!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
